I agree ... I think the Notes field would be a lot more useable in the way suggested. A compromise could be a user defined edit screen (ie. the user decides the order of all the edit fields ... and therefore could move up the Notes field so it was immediately visible).
Really looking forward to the next proper update to the To Do app ... a lot has been suggested on this forum, and it will be good to see some of it implemented ... albeit I LOVE the simplicity of operating To Do and wouldn't want that compromised in any way ! I have been using your application on my iPhone for nearly 3 months now and without question it has absolutely changed my life. I've always been an extremely busy person and that has resulted in my becoming a bit of a scatterbrain. Since downloading this application I am more on top of things at work and in my personal life than I have ever been. The only thing that I would really love to have added that others have not mentioned in recent posts to this group is a concise, clean view pane. I occasionally add notes to my tasks, but I rarely look at them because I have to go to the edit window and scroll down to see it.. sometimes when I'm doing that my thumb keeps hitting other things as I quickly try to scroll down and settings get changed, etc. It would be very helpful if, when you select a task, it would take you to the view pane (maybe looking something like your 'About Todo' window in the app). At the top of the view pane you would have a button on the left that would take you back to your task list, and one on the right that would say 'edit' and take you to the edit pane. This way the extended details about my task would be so much easier to read, make notes easier to get to and read, and probably have the view pane filter out unnecessary information (for instance, leaving out the 'time' line if you didn't specify a specific time for the task).
