For us Palm "old-timers" the lack of a complete sync solution and the isolation of the iPhone calendar are annoyances. But because of that, I look at my iPhone as the central source of event information so as long as there's a backup solution (more than iTunes) then it wouldn't 't bother me to have a calendar built in to Todo and simply ignore the iPhone calendar.
Even better would be a Todo Desktop (PC and Mac please) just like the old Palm Desktop. I'd even pay another $10-$20 for it.
