It's great to have the ability to sync directly to my Mac laptop. I really appreciate having a direct, local backup on my tasks and not having to rely on the cloud (e.g., Toodledo) where there can be privacy issues. There are some glaring problems, however, with iCal as a task manager.
1) The font size is too small and is not changeable. That just about ends the game right there! If you can't see your tasks, there's no way to manage them. 2) Poor control over what is displayed. You can chose to hide any tasks past the current calendar view, but you cannot chose to hide non- dated tasks. You can limit the view to certain groups of tasks but only by turning off, individually, every other calendar. 3) Convoluted interface compared to Appigo's Todo. I could detail lots of glitches, non user-friendly features, but anyone who's used iCal knows exactly what I mean. Bottom line: I really hope that Appigo comes out with its own desktop program. I just recently purchased the desktop version of HanDBase and was impressed with its clean look and fast synching. It'd be great if Appigo created a Todo program for the Macs (OK and Windows) that would mirror what it looks like on the iPhone/IPT and handle automatic synching. It'd be another source of revenue for you guys and would give us real task management on our Macs! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Learn more about Todo, Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Appigo Todo" group.
