Yep, no-brainer! This was discussed quite some time ago too. I think a desktop app with the functionality of the iPhone app would be fantastic. However, I don't want it to sync just with Sync Services, because then its functionality would be impaired by the lacklustre iCal tasks. Sync to Toodledo/RTM would be the ideal. Without knowing anything about it, you would think at least some of the code would be transferable from iPhone to mac desktop.
