Thanks to all of you who have participated in this thread. We wanted to take a moment and discuss our approach to iPhone OS 3.0. While we have been aware of the new features of the OS since March, push notification has really become viable just recently. As a result, we have decided that the best approach to providing a quality app release for iPhone OS 3.0 is to intentionally delay until after iPhone OS 3.0 was released to the general public. This allows us to greatly improve the amount of up-front testing with our beta group to ensure the most stable release.
Instead of rushing to release apps that we do not have complete confidence, we prefer to make sure they work well before ever submitting our updates to Apple. We believe our customers have come to trust in our products and to expect a level of professionalism and stability unmatched by others in the App Store. Currently, all of our apps work quite well on iPhone OS 3.0. We've written up a few known issues related to each product running on iPhone OS 3.0 here: http://www.appigo.com/todo/faq/appigo-os-3 We're very excited about all the new features that iPhone OS 3.0 brings. Please stay tuned for our future updates as we continue to enhance our apps to take advantage of these amazing features.
