I noticed the same problem with duplicate tags.  I deleted some of
them, and others appeared.
It's very frustrating, and erodes confidence in the app.  If it can
mess up the tags, how do I know
it won't mess up my data?

For now, completely erasing Todo, rebooting the phone, reinstalling
Todo and re-downloading the data
from Toodledo seems to have worked (knock knock).   But, Appigo guys
-- please take this seriously,
it really needs to be fixed.
