Based on your comments, it sounds like your device and your Mac are either have incorrectly configured network settings or a firewall is blocking the traffic from your device to your Mac. Here are some additional steps that might help you figure out what part of your configuration needs to be tweaked.
- Can you access your Appigo Sync http interface from Safari on your Mac? So, instead of connecting from your device, lets just try to access it locally on your Mac. This will show that Appigo Sync is up and running and listening for connections. Follow these steps but open Safari on your Mac instead of your device:* * *http://tinyurl.com/appigo-safari-steps* - Can both your Mac and your device access Internet content like www.cnn.com? This step should help determine if one or both of your devices network / IP settings were incorrectly tweaked when attempting to get Todo and Appigo Sync configured. If they can't, then check your network settings to see if you can spot any issues. Chances are if you set them back to DHCP or automatic, things should start behaving properly. - If you can do both of the previous steps successfully, and you still fail to get Safari on your device to talk with the Appigo Sync http interface, then you are more then likely running into a firewall issue.
