I too am having trouble synching iCal with ToDo on my iPhone 3GS. I only want it to sync from iCal to ToDo and don't really care about alerts, etc. I find it takes 1-2 hours to pick up the changes in iCal and then will usually but not always synch all the changes from iCal. In the meantime, I may get several "App not responding" for the Appigo Sync application which necessitates relaunching same. The Appigo support staff seems unable to fix these problems.
I tried iTask as an alternative and found it synched all the iCal items immediately and correctly but unfortunately I do not like the screens on the iPhone as well as the ToDo app. Given this situation, I assume persons who are having iCal sync problems will switch to another app if they can find one that works and the Appigo staff cannot fix the problems with the ToDo app synching.
