All, After successfully configuring Todo alerts, http://www.appigo.com/todo/faqs/alerts,Todo users should be receiving alerts for any existing or newly created tasks in Todo that have specified due times. However, after discussing this Google group thread with our development team, it looks like there might be a couple use cases where alerts for existing tasks with due times does not work properly. Below are a couple suggested workarounds to resolve this issue.
- Manually edit an existing task (Just like Kenny suggested) - If you configured Todo with an existing Sync Service, go ahead and make sure that all of your tasks exist on the sync service, then in Todo do a Reset Sync Data (Todo | Settings | Synchronization | Advanced | Reset Synchronization Data) As for badge count updates via push notification, we have previously posted the following statement: http://groups.google.com/group/appigo-todo/web/will-todo-3-0-automatically-update-the-badge-count-using-push-notification Thanks, The Appigo Team -- Appigo Support [email protected] Learn more about Todo (task management made simple), Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ Follow the latest from Appigo on Facebook: http://www.tinyurl.com/appigo-fb Follow the latest from Appigo on Twitter: http://twitter.com/appigo Participate with Appigo and our community using the following Google groups: http://groups.google.com/group/appigo-todo/ http://groups.google.com/group/appigo-notebook/ http://groups.google.com/group/appigo-accufuel/ On Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 10:36 AM, duncan <[email protected]> wrote: > > Ditto - I haven't tested as exhaustively as you have yet but I'm not > getting even any badge updates unless I open the app (the way it used > to be!!).
