I suspect that using Toodledo Pro does help with the syncing problem in
Outlook. Outlook still seems to not recognize checklist and list each item
in your list separately with no due date. Is this the normal behavior?

In any event, I've had to go other apps that can do checklists. I was hoping
that this one could do it all.... Will To-do ever sync with Outlook w/o a
third party app? On the sales page it says that functionality was coming
soon....

button wants to delete everything

Linda,

We appreciate your patience as we work with you to solve this issue.
First, we would like to explain the sync process further. Todo has
several sync options that we have explained below:

1.) Todo Synchronization - This is the normal sync option provided in
Todo and should be the default sync method used.

Pictured here:
http://appigo.com/images/todo/todo-features-lists-expanded.png

Also, we want to make sure you are aware of the rules of conflict
resolution with our software sync design for Todo and the various sync
services that Todo supports. Here is a Google Group discussion
regarding conflict resolution in Todo with regard to syncing:

And here is our response to the thread:

http://tinyurl.com/mm3nrl

2.) Todo Settings >> Synchronization >> Advanced >> Reset
Synchronization Data - This option will clear off all tasks in Todo
and pull all the tasks available in the backend sync service
(Toodledo.com, Remember the Milk, or Appigo Sync) into Todo. This is
typically used when there is a database or data corruption issue with
Todo and we want to clear out the local database and pull all the
tasks from the backend sync service.

3.) Todo Settings >> Synchronization >> Advanced >> Perform Full
Synchronization - A full synchronization is not a recommend process
for normal syncing. A full synchronization will pull everything from
the server, overwrite ALL tasks it matches including the ones that may
have data that will be lost, and then pushes up any tasks that have
never been synced. It's almost as destructive as a reset sync except
it does allow local tasks that have never been synced to be pushed up
to the server. NOTE: This is an advanced sync method that should only
need to be used when troubleshooting.

Based on your comments in the Google groups, it sounds like you have
been trying out various sync services and switching between them.
While you mention that you always get the dialog shown in the
following FAQ when pressing the lower left synchronization button, you
should only be shown this dialog once after switching sync services.
Of course if you press the cancel button, then yes you will be shown
this dialog every time until you choose either discard or keep.

http://www.appigo.com/appigo-sync/faqs/switching/switching-services

If you have been selecting either discard or the keep option and
continue to see this dialog ever time you try to sync, then this would
be our first reported incident of such behavior. In this case we would
recommend the following FAQ:

http://www.appigo.com/todo/faqs/misbehaving-application

We also thought we might mention that if you are syncing with Toodledo
and have issues where project or checklist subtasks relationships are
not maintained, you will want to make sure that you are using a
Toodledo pro account as documented here:

http://www.appigo.com/todo/features/projects

We hope this answers your question.  If not, feel free to contact us
and we will be happy to assist you further.

Thanks,

The Appigo Team
