Spoke too soon! It synched (supposedly) but when I checked iCal, there were no updates of my tasks! None of the new ones were transferred, none of the changes to the old ones either!
I've tried the synch button several times... it reports connecting, updating list, updating tasks. On one them, the Diagnostics Log reports it found 12 local tasks needing sync, then that it synch subtasks to the server; then a message found 0 local tasks. When I looked in iCal, none of the new tasks or the changes appeared! I then changed the due date on an old task-- and the date on a new task-- and then it successfully synched! This time it reported 14 tasks needing synching (that even doesn't really make sense given that the 2 I changed were part of the original 12 that already needed synching--so it should not have grown to 14!). That was followed by the same messages as before. So, clearly Appigo Sync is not working properly! And, for some bizarre reason, certain kinds of changes have to be made for the synching to work! I have to be blunt here--this behavior really needs fixing or Todo will get a reputation as not being reliable! I'd hate to see that happen to such a useful app and good company! If I were just now in the market for a todo app and read about such issues, I would have definite second thoughts about getting Todo. And keep in mind that this is a reaction and judgment from someone who is a big Appigo booster! By the way, because I'm sure it matters, I'm using Todo 3.0.1 Build 4036. Appigo Sync is version 1.0. iCal is 3.0.8 (1287).
