This seems to be an intermittent problem especially with recurring tasks in ToDo. I'll set up recurring tasks in ToDo, and when I sync with iCal, quite often the old iCal task with no recurrence overwrites the ToDo recurring task. Then I have to re-create the recurrence in ToDo.
And it is not only recurring tasks; sometimes I will complete or delete regular tasks in ToDo, and then iCal will replace them on my iPhone.
