Hello Appigo,

Let me start off by noting that the UI of Todo is so good that it is
still my "goto" iphone task app.

That said, Appigo boasts that it "allows you to integrate the Getting
Things Done (GTD) methodology." A critical part of the GTD
methodology is the ability to assign a status, such as "Next Action"
or "Waiting" to a task. Although Todo has successfully adopted many
components of the GTD method, the inability to assign a status to a
task is a glaring omission and. As a result, although still my most
used "todo" app, Appigo's Todo is not the only todo app on my iphone.
The other apps I use are "Toodledo" and "PocketInformant," both of
which include the ability to designate a GTD status to a task.

Others in this forum have suggested a creative work-around. One work-
around is to use create the status labels in "tags." There are two
problems with this alternative: 1. It does not work well when also
trying to manage tasks within the online Toodledo environment. 2.
When working within the Pocket Informant app, each tag is creates a
new calendar AND the you still have to manually set the status,
anyway.

Given that I have only seen sporatic mention of this issue on this
forum, I don't know if Appigo is seriously considering adding a
"status label" feature to future updates. However, give then
popularity of the GTD method, I am reasonably confident that many
others would welcome such a feature.

Beyond responding with the standard, "Thank you for posting to our
groups. We appreciate all the suggestions we receive. We will gladly
take your suggestions into consideration." can Appigo offer any idea
about plans to incorporate this feature and/or tell us when you might
be considering adding this feature?

Thank you for your consideration. Thank you, also, for the extra time
you will necessarily take when posting a thoughtful and specific
answer to my request & question.

Cheers,
Matthew
