I feel fortunate that I haven't had any upgrading issues, including
sync. Not including tasks with my mobile me syncing does the trick (I
wish I didn't have to exclude tasks, but I suspect that it's Apple's
restrictions, not Appigo's issue).
Regarding the starred tasks, I was confused at first to see this
feature. But now I find it a helpful feature. I've added some tasks
recently for which I don't have a particular due date in mind yet, but
know I want to get to them as soon as I can. By starring them, I can
have them in my Focus list without having to assign a due date. I also
then have a nice separate 'get to next' kind of list. There would be
other ways to make this happen, but using stars makes the process very
simple.

Hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, but my bet is the majority of
Appigo Todo fans were fans because of the SIMPLICITY and the
CLEANLINESS of the interface. If new features are introduced, PLEASE
PLEASE can users be given the option whether to take them or not! A
settings screen which is a mile long is so much more preferable than
being force fed unnecessary features ....
Hoping we get some update on this apparent Sync bug shortly ...
