I have an update to my March 10th post and it is a positive development regarding synching with iCal.
Synching my ToDos on my iPod Touch with my ToDos in iCal seem to be working much better than in March so I no longer need to take all the steps I described above. The large improvement seems to be connected with the latest Mac software update I did to OS X 10.6.3, but it may also have been from an update to ToDo (I'm running 3.4.2, build 5354) Now when I synch, the items I've changed on my iPod are immediately updated in iCal. I can even update items when my Mac is not running, and the next synch will pick these up as soon as I do a synch when both programs are running. It even seems to work when iCal isn't running, but my Mac and Appigo Synch are running. Then when I start iCal, the updates are right there. I posted this to report the progress that's been made and to set the record straight. I hope this is a help to someone. Thanks.
