I use both the iPad app and ToDo online. I think there is not from the iPad app (you can either mail the task to yourself or create a repeating task that repeats at a high enough frequency that it will be automatically recreated when you complete it). From the ToDo online, you can select a checklist and then from Actions -> Duplicate.
I generally prefer the iPad app to Online, because it simply works better and is not as buggy. But this is one area where the Online has a better feature. I'm also a satisfied customer, except for my frustration from divergence of different platform features.
