Well, I did not make myself clear enough. This is what I sent to John Zimmer. Maybe this will explain a little better.
John, The tower is a conventional pruning tower made by Phil Brown Welding Corp., Conklin, MI., Ph: (616) 784-3046. I RIDE on it. It cost about $12,000.00 three years ago including a hydraulic limb lopper. The suspension system is something that I made myself using a garage door cable and pulley, plastic water pipe and ¾ conduit. I like the tower because it is three wheeled with each wheel having power, meaning it never gets stuck, the bucket swings from side to side from the center of the row, meaning the wheels can pretty much drive a straight track down the middles. The tower will reach 15 high but my trees are only about 9. It just saves a lot of walking, reaching and strain. Phil Brown is a nice man and he makes a product that will never wear out.
