Thank you for your optimistic post, Mr. Barclay.  I agree with all of it except 
the last sentence.  As a producer, I feel we do not have the ability to create 
our own destiny due to the rate of restrictions that are being put on which 
chemical tools are allowed, and I fear that will spell disaster for many 
farmers.  The government regulation of crop production and sales is becoming 
increasingly threatening.  I heard a farmer say that the largest farm able land 
is in Russia, but they cannot even feed their own people because of the way the 
government is structured.  America can feed the world, but I fear not for long. 
 No matter what political persuasion one chooses to have, we should all be 
informed about the direction the controls are headed.  I'm glad your glass is 
half full.  I think mine is half empty.
