Apple SCSI cards capable of using DMA (AKA High Speed) do get bid up over
$100. Earlier versions sell for less. Being a firm believer in basic
economics, I believe that an auction is the best determinant of the true value
of an item. So, it would have to be an act of charity for someone to sell you
one for much less than the average sale price on eBay.
Of course, extreme bargains can occasionally be found on eBay. One of my
first buys on eBay was a IIgs with an Apple SCSI card and a hard drive that
cost me $66. I picked it up in person. The seller threw in a PCTransporter
primarily because he didn't know what it was.
