Hi, folks! I have a card in my Apple //e Enhanced that I don't know what it is for. It is in slot 2, and has a 2716 EPROM chip (2 Kb) with a label that says "UNITRON P" over the chip's window, eight 74LSxx ICS, a couple of 7417s (not LC this time), a 11-pin resistor bridge and a 20 pin connector simmilar to those in the Disk ][ controller cards. All chips are socketed except for the two 7417s. The borad is blue, says simply "U-2074" and is about six by three inches in size, with the 20 pin connector on the upper left.
I have think two options: 1) it's a data-adquisition board of some kind (that //e came from a laboratory where it was used in the mid an late 80s) and 2) it's a CP/M disk controller (when I got it, I was told this computer had had a CP/M card in slot 7). Anyone can help?
