I'm not sure why I didn't reply to this before, but the emulator I'm using
is called MESS, Multiple Emulator Super System. It emulates a TON of old
systems and consoles, including most of the Apple ][ series. I'm using
the xmess version, for Linux, and it works very well (except for figuring out
things like "flipping" disks for 2-disc programs, I'm not sure how to do
that yet).

MESS is related to MAME, they share as much code as they can. MAME, for
everyone's interest, is the Multi-Arcade Machine Emulator, and emulates a lot
of those arcade games, both vintage up to reasonably modern.

www.mess.org is the MESS home page, and www.mame.net is the MAME home
page.
