Yeah this does look like a clock calendar card, but I can't understand why
this would be in an IIgs as it has a clock calendar chip built in.
My thoughts exactly ... I mean although it said "Clockworks" I was still really bewildered because the IIgs does have date/time functions and since I found NO information on this particular card via a Google search I wasn't sure. Basically I thought it was a bit redundant to have two clock in a computer so I imagined that there was an off-chance that it did something else, but I suppose not.
Also since there is no little piece of paper covering the EEPROM you might
have just erased the programming with the flash form your camera, or if it
has been under florescent light.
Uh oh. The board was made in the 80's of course and when I removed the card the paper was yellow/brown and not adhesive at all. As I have never dealt with EEPROM that much I had no idea that a camera flash could damage the programming. :(
