I would find a copy of the Apple Service  //Gs diagnostic program and have
it run it on loop for the memory test. I think you have  a defective ram
chip on your expansion card. The ROM 03 //Gs  is the latest revision of the
//Gs with 1 meg of ram on the logic board.
