Apple intentionally crippled the Apple /// in the dos 3.3 mode as it will only see 48k as the maximum memory. The ///EZ pieces program is a better choice as it is the forerunner of Appleworks Version 1.0. I own a 3rd party Transcend memory board which plugs into 2 slots and allows any of the Apple //e programs to run correctly thru emulation. I think the biggest problem would be the graphics support on the /// logic board. There was a upgraded VGA graphics video card made for the Apple //e and //Gs a while back. I wonder if this card would run on the Apple /// . I have boxes of software for the Apple /// including the Haba ///ez pieces program which is prodos based. If someone could upgrade the Haba program to a modern level of prodos that would help.
