The May 1989 issue of A+ had a number of articles about hard drives. On
pages 36 and 37 there's a two page table listing eight manufacturers of hard
drives for the Apple II line. For CMS Enhancements, Inc. it lists three
models: SD20, SD30 and SD60. The number in the model number indicates the
size of the drive in megabytes.
The same issue of A+ has three ads from companies offering CMS hard drives
and they all mention 43MB drives. One of the three ads mentions a SD43 model
number.
Jeff, is it possible you misread the model number and you have an SD60?
