I think it is pretty clear that you have an Apple II hard drive.  50 pin
connectors were common,  I have one of them myself connected, or it was
connected, to a Apple //e at one time and then a //gs for a while.  Right
now it is retired as the focus drives seem faster and certainly are
lighter, easier to tote.
