Greetings. Thanks for your replies re: my need for a battery replacement. I know the IIGS was not designed Y2K compliant, but I was curious about something while tooling around the Control Panel in GS/OS (how I discovered my battery was dead/dying). The Date/Time Control Panel in ProDOS only has a 2-digit year, but I noticed in GS/ OS (v5.0.4) the year drop-down menu is 4-digit, but it only goes up to 1999. What's the story here? Do subsequent versions of OS allow for setting the calendar year past 1999?

Just curious,

Gary Daught
