A 120 MB drive should be partitioned into 3 x 32 MB partitions, and one smaller one. Install GS/OS onto the first 32 MB partition and it should boot fine. If your SCSI card is an Apple card, you should upgrade the ROM to Rev."C" for the IIgs. I can supply you with that for $5 plus postage. Not sure how much the postage would be, but $1 should do it. So, for $6 you can get your SCSI card up to the latest version.
Bill Garber : I have ROM 1 Apple IIGS with SCSI card Rev. B. : I formatted an external 120mb drive into 3 : partitions - 2 prodos and one OS. : I can install the 6.0.1 system but I can't boot : from the HD. Any reason ? should I just partition : the drive into one 32mb prodos and the rest : unallocated ? Can the reason be that OS partition : is the first one ? -- Apple2list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Apple2list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/apple2.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:apple2list@mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/apple2list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
