    The first partition does NOT have to be a ProDOS partition.  I just grabbed
a 44 MB SyQuest cartridge that has three non-ProDOS partitions (2 driver and 1
HFS) and two ProDOS partitions.  That means that the first ProDOS partition was
the 4th partition.  I was able to boot into ProDOS on an Apple IIe.  If it works
for ProDOS on a IIe then it'll work for GS/OS on a IIgs.
