To upgrade python-gobject it wants to install python2.5, but i have python 2.6 
already installed and

But i have python << 2.7 AND >=2.5 (because 2.6 is greater than 2.5) but still

Upgrading the package manually with dpkg, it does not complain about missing 
deps and installs.

Hi,

After almost 3 years and using old versions of the software (and
packages in the repository), marked as needing more info without any
reply provided, I don't think that it makes sense to follow-up this
