Hi,

I think that it's impossible to try to track down this bug from
aptitude without any backtrace with enough information, like listing
lines where this happens in aptitude code, or more information
provided -- as Daniel Burrows requested long ago (but shortly after
the submission).

By now the user surely fixed the issue in one way or another, so the
required information cannot be provided anymore.

So I am closing the bug report now, please reopen if still having
concerns regarding this bug report.
