Hi David,

As might have been suspected, there was an error between chair and

qt3 has to be compiled with gcc 3.3, and therefore, so does aqbanking.
I had lost track of setting the default compiler (trying to do too many
things together) and gcc 4 was failing with the 3.3 generated qt
libraries.
Well :-))) I thought about that a few days ago but forgot to ask. At
least now this is solved.
So, aqbanking builds (and so does qbankmanager 0.9.29-2) but how am I
supposed to create setting.conf? I get various X terminal messages
about the file not existing, and Qbankmanager faithfully reports that I
have 'no accounts', but there is no facility in qbankmanager to let me
create a new account.
The accounts are created only in the respective setup wizards. So you
have to call the ofxconnect wizard (aqofxconnect-qt3-wizard) - either
this is installed into
/usr/lib/aqbanking/plugins/0/wizards/aqofxconnect/aqofxconnect-qt3-wizard
or you simply call the executable from the build directory. In that
wizard you can create new accounts. Once this is done and the wizard
exists successfully, then QBankManager should also show these accounts.
