I am trying to get my balance and transactions from inside GnuCash. Both 
should be legal for a "Girokonto". Both work for my other account 
("Tagesgeldkonto").

If you think from the aqbanking side everything looks ok, I ask the bank if 
they blocked HBCI access for this account for some reason.
