Hello,
I had compiled and installed gnucash 2.2.1 and aqbanking 2.2 on my Debian
Lenny system in October 2007 and used gnucash for online banking ever since.
Yesterday when I did apt-get update I accidently installed the gnucash
(2.2.6) and aqbanking (3.6.2) debian packages. I wanted to downgrade but when
I looked at http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Debian I read the online banking is
now enabled in the latest Debian and Ubuntu packages. So decided to stay with
the new versions. when I started Gnucash 2.2.6. I realized that the online
banking is not working.

so, in GnuCash I clicked > Tools > Online Banking Setup > Forward > Start
AqBanking Wizard.

When opening the AqBanking Wizard I relaized that all the information in the
users and Accounts tabs was lost. I then checked /home/user/.banking where
these data had been stored. But there where just newly created files and no
users and bank account information.

I then used the AqBanking Wizard to set up the users that I had used before:
:> New User > Backend: aqhbci > OK > Import keyfile > This wizard imports
users from a RDH medium (whatever that is) > Next >
File: /home/user/mybankaccounts/abcd123.txt
:> Next > Check key file > Enter password > I enter the password > Click on OK
Loading plugin "ohbci"
Checking plugin "ohbci"
Old OpenHBCI file detected
Plugin "ohbci" supports this token
Finished. you may close this window.
I click on "Close", result: failed

What does this mean. And why does a key file that has always worked fine not
work anymore?

Best regards,
