I'm afraid there is no such way. Instead, due to the version number increase the variable AQBANKING_SO_EFFECTIVE should be increased in configure.ac, which is achieved by setting AQBANKING_SO_AGE to zero or something like that. However, so far the SO_EFFECTIVE number hasn't been increased. Martin, maybe this should be done for aqbanking-4.0.0 now?
