Aha, hmm... (not my fault then <g>). I've noticed that I can't run Word 5.5
in graphical mode with Cute Mouse either (I only tried with 1.6 and 1.7),

I do this with my important stuff as well - well not so much floppies since
they tend to stop working after a while.

I suggest you pick up a bunch mice now while there still may be some 3
button mice left (I haven't seen any in the shops for some years here - but
then the number of shops are rather small).
