Well, you could use other settings ... but why bother? These two
settings are sufficient to cover any requirement - in fact, IMHO,
the second setting should work just fine for any situation (... if
only I could just convince any doubters to *try* it! ;-).

Well, this is similar to the machines I use, and which *required*
the "most reliable" FIFO setting - 486DX2-66's. From the Arachne
doc's, it seems Michael has had similar troubles on Pentiums!
So, if you are also having problems with the original 0.6 EPPPD,
then it is quite possible that this may be another symtom of this
FIFO overflow problem.
