I don't understand your argument - you seem to imply that one
can always be selective about what URLs to visit. Suppose one
can't...that you actually /need/ to visit this URL...? In this
case maybe you need a rare spare part for your Jaguar or
Daimler and can only get it through this website? For users of
Arachne such a limitation would just be a reason to dump it and
choose another product so at any rate Michael should try to
circumvent it.
FWIW, Dos Lynx has no problem with this URL..and since the
sources of Lynx are open there should be one or two programming
tricks for you and Michael to glean from there in regards to
this particular problem. ;-)
PS: As for typing, sometimes copy/paste is also an option..
