I think that if someone is crazy enough to use Arachne, he/she won't 
dump it because of few weird long hostnames ;-)

If somene decides not to use Arachne, I think missing JavaScript and SSL 
are more urgent issues.

Never mind, I will see what can be done about long URLs generally... 
basicaly, dynamic allocation is way to go, but not in DOS.
