United Services Autobile Association (USAA) offers very low rates
for automobile and homeowner's insurance. Eligibility to apply is
limited to active and retired members of the US military and their
spouses and their sons and daughters and perhaps some others
currently or formerly associated with the military. My son and I
are insured with USAA. I used to carry my auto insurance with GEICO.
USAA offered me better rates.

While reading a message, how can I delete them, without
going to the index, using the keyboard only ?

Thanks

Using the arrow keys, move the cursor to the "TRASH" button
and press enter. When your "trash can" gets full move your
cursor to the "EMPTY TRASH" ikon and press enter.

I have found that I must unload the mouse driver in order to
move the cursor by using the arrow keys.

If you have 'Realtime smooth scrolling ("Netscape") ' turned on.
Use Shift+Arrow to move the 'mouse cursor'.

We can also 'tab' to any link or button using our TAB key.

Glenn,

Here is the information you requested. Arachne 1.71UE is located at
I:\ARA171UE. RAM drive is L: and is has \TEMP and \CACHE directories. \TEMP
is reestablished on the RAM drive each time the RAM drive is resized.

More or less instantly. There was no downloading from the web (nothing on
the status bar nor any lights blinking on the modem.

Subject: Fw: [DOS-DISCUSS] AT HDD upgrade (:

a. About Iomega ZIP
*******************

(how to see the zip drive after booting up from DR-DOS)

This a config.sys I made as my bootable rescue disk when only a floppy AND a
zip drive are available after boot.

CONFIG.SYS

########################

DEVICE=A:\HIMEM.SYS
DOS=HIGH
LASTDRIVE=Z
DEVICE=A:\ASPIPPM1.SYS  /INFO FILE=NIBBLE.ILM  SPEED= 1

###################

ASPIPPM1.SYS and NIBBLE.ILM are files from Iomega Disks (also online,
25 Kilobytes total)

the line "Last drive= Z" will solve troubles reassigning letters to adding
hard drives

AUTOEXEC.BAT

I have added a line to run Guest.exe within autoexec.bat (from A:\ or C:\)
It assigns a drive letter to the ZIP drive under DOS (file from Zip install
disks)

#################

A:\GUEST.EXE

#################

b.  Copying files PC2PC under DR-DOS

Using a null modem cable with one of DR-DOS "exclusive" features (at the
time it appeared , as also double disk hard disk capacity and so on...!)
command:

XLINK

Hope it helps.

I was thinking in a sigle key press to delete the message.

In Pegasus Mail for DOS, I just press <delete> while reading a
message, and the following message appears.

I think that it would be very convenient to have this facility
in InSight.

I understand and share the frustrations some of us are having with the time
it's taking for the GPL release. I'm itching to get my paws on the
Arachne sources (as Glenn well knows), but I still think Mr. McC is doing the
right thing by waiting--like it or not, folks, Arachne still belongs to
Michael, and it wouldn't be right to release it until he says so, tempting
though it might be to jump the gun.

Hello all,

My Arachne is currently set up for DHCP LAN connection.
>From time to time, I can see "Rejecting zero address" message
in the status line and Arachne seems to hang.
I have never seen this when I worked with fixed IP address on LAN.

Anyone knows what does this message mean?
Is there something wrong with the DHCP server?

Regards,

Michal
