You won't even need to rename them do the viewing in Arachne.
Just duplicate this line in mime.cfg
file/*.cnm >HTM|[130]$einsight.exe -i $1 -cache=$t>$2
Make the new line like this and all files with the .EML extension
will be treated just like .CNM
file/*.eml >HTM|[130]$einsight.exe -i $1 -cache=$t>$2
