I downloaded and installed the Linux version. It looks like a pretty
functional WYSIWYG word processor with all the normally expected
features,
most of which are readily apparent in the screen shot. On the down
side,
it doesn't read/write very many formats. You have the choice of a
native
format, .abw, or Gzipped abw, .zabw. Then there's .rtf, .txt, .utf8,
and
.html.
I guess that's plenty of formats as long as you don't need to send
a file to someone else, though I guess even Windows folks can read .rtf,
right? I've never even heard of .utf8 so have no idea what that's all
about.
It looks functional enough that I think I'll keep it for the time
being... at least til I get around to getting DOSEMU working to the
point where I can use my old favorite, Geoworks. ;)
