Hello Matt:

The error message that appeared but very briefly on your screen probably
said "Out of Environment Space". This kind of error is due to either not
having enough memory, or having an improper configuration for memory, or
failure to set a large enough environment variable. See your DOS manual
and read your Arachne documentation files for more information. Your
machine, having 8 MB RAM, has more than enough memory to run Arachne; however,
if you load too many drivers and devices in the lower 640K region of memory
you will have problems. DOS internet programs generally need lots of lower
memory.
