I HAD seen it but it didn't register because I wasn't up to testing yet.<g>
Further info:
I have found that if the virtual screen size you have selected is not big
enough for the page, it says "No Virtual Screen to Export" in the status bar.
I had to go to 5000 lines (pixels) to get home.arachne.cz.
It made a file that would just barely fit on a 1.44 floppy.
I think I will be able to save my stock gifs with a 1000 line virtual screen.
Also, I edited the "export.bmp" screen (Hit F4 when it comes up) to change
the default name and directory for export. I didn't know how to make it show
the complete path so I just put in ".\Export\PAGE.BMP". Works.
It was REALLY nice to be able to shell out and create that directory before
I hit the "Export" button. <g>
While in the editor I found a couple of functions that Michael had commented
out and turned them on to take a look. Appear to be functions to setup and
send bmp to printer !! Good stuff.
I wonder what other stuff is hidden in all these .AH files for future use. <G>
BTW, I did get a minor lock-up BEFORE I edited the export screen that may be
related to some of the unused stuff. I tried to get off the screen and got a
DOS message overlayed onscreen: "Fault writing device PRN: A_bort, R_etry ?"
Neither A nor R worked. I altXd to DOS and STILL got the message.
