If you are sending mail to sonmeone that is on the same server you will not
need the part after the @ (or the @ itself IIRC).
I used this a few times to send mail to a friend, remembering "chbr" was
much easier than the whole address - even if it the rest was the same as
mine ;)
But if the program you're sending with is checking for common errors this
migth not work. I'll give it a try with Arachne soon...
