Dear Michael,

Well done on V1.6 - it's coming on nicely!

I fear that you may have a bit of a problem with the History function
now, though. Several times since trying 1.6, I have been to a site and
successfully viewed the whole page. When coming off-line and then trying
to re-read the page, I'm told that there's no network interface
available, as if Arachne cannot find the page in its cache.

If I exit from Arachne and search through the cache for the file that
contains the page I was viewing on-line, note the file name/number and
then use Desktop in Arachne to view the file, I can see the page
(without images inserted), so I know that the page IS in the cache.
Trying history again (or even the Hotlist, since the page's address is
stored there) still tells me that there isn't a network interface
available.

Possibly related to this is that, when looking at the history list,
the places that I've visited do not seem to be recorded in order.
Usually, the list comes up with the scroll bar NOT at the top. It seems
as though most recent visits are being recorded at random places in the
middle of the list, somehow.

I hope that this information is helpful - drop me a line if you need
any more observation or clues!

   All the best,

      Ron Ickse.
