Hmmm...
TMP variable setting is used with win98 or later to
make an alternate location for temporary files...
(when you have a hard disk with partitions... for
example or (like me) you don't have a hard disk, but
many conections of net units...)
Arachnetemp system variable works nice if you have it
directed in a directory which is in the arachne
directory... ex: if you have core.exe in a c:\arachne\
directory arachnetemp may be... c:\arachne\temp\
without the final '\' if you aren't in a LAN
enviroment)
A little bug...
when you use arachne in LAN enviroment (for beginers
lan stands for Local Area Networks) usually arachne
doesn't detect the config.sys or autoexec.bat files...
(do you have seen boot up a computer from a net unit?
:) ) This can be corrected... (arachne stops in it
and you have to enter manually the Setup.htm command
in the url line to continue the process :)
Have a nice day...
J.
