Studanka.mp3 with qv.exe on a 486

Hello,

On a quiet and rainy day, I downloaded Skrehule's Studanka (not just to
test the pc, but also out of curiousity). I've not been able to enjoy it
yet, since some limitation in the system cuts the sound to parts of about 3
seconds length.

What are usual system demands for playing .mp3 files with QV.exe?
