I just went there with NS 3 on Linux. It was looking promising, being
redirected all over the place, until BAM! "JavaScript required"...
Even though I did have JS enabled. Oh well. I guess I couldn't be
bothered to check [EMAIL PROTECTED] now.
] And now I am back after spending considerable time exploring
] http://www.crosswinds.net. I have this to say:
]
] Very interesting site. They offer free personal web pages and even free
I did have a site there, but they were way too slow... (AFAICT they
used to allow porn and stuff but just before I joined they banned it)
My site is now deleted - moved to a virtual server with CGI access. :)
] business web pages. (To get a free business web-page you have to let them
] put one of their banners on your page) From reading about their free
] email, it appears they do not offer web-based mail, but they do offer
] IMAP email, in which you will need to configure your own email client to
] use the web-site's mail servers.
They did have web-based mail. But I never used it. Looked at
http://cwmail.crosswinds.net? It looks confusing. :(
BTW, If you have a spare domain, you can make your own webbased email
system for free! :) I have 'registered' hoody.go.cc. I wonder if I can
use that? <G>
[I'm talking www.bigmailbox.com - www.espn.com.hk uses this]
