 For files recieved and viewed, content/type sent by the server is used.
For local files, the file extension is used.
That's why we need both lines in mime.cfg.

 To over-ride the function (temporarily)...
Alt+E out of Arachne, edit mime.cfg to show as such
text/plain          TGZ

"exit" back into Arachne and download the file.
The "save as" page will then allow you to save the file.

 Alt+E and restore the original copy of mime.cfg
"exit" back into Arachne and proceed as normal.
